FOLK TALE IN ‘KAMALI’

In the Devadasi system we see only woman undergoing trouble. In this film ‘Kamali’ we see a Devadasi couple facing difficult moment in life. The tension, sexual appeasement, frightening moments are found in this film ’Kamali’. The tale coming from one person to another person later becoming folk tale is the catch of director Vishnu Priyan S. He has shot for the film in Nelamangala, Mysuru, Bengaluru for 20 days. In the second schedule he is completing the shoot.

Sujith a theatre actor is in lead role. He has a soft and hard role. He faces strange situation in life. Debutant Kavya finds it difficult to live with the new environment of her husband in this film. Journalist cum actor Yethiraj is in negative shade. It is in northern Karnataka accent for his role.

Sangeetha as mother, Shobaraj, Ramesh Bhat and others are in supporting role. Hanumanthraju is producer of this film ‘Kamali’.
